Ticket Types & Information
General and Fast Track Admission
We have two entry times; 5pm, which is called Fast Track admission and 5.30pm, which is called General admission.
Fast Track ticket holders who arrive after the general admission queue has opened and skip ahead to go through the Fast Track gate.
All disabled and disabled plus carer tickets are Fast Track.
Children are the same admission time as their accompanying adult.
Teen tickets have a Fast Track or General option.
Disabled Tickets
We have two types of disabled tickets.
Disabled plus Carer tickets allows for an official carer to attend with the disabled person free of charge. Both can enter via the Fast Track queue.
For wheelchair users please specify if a wheelchair space is needed by sending us a message via the Contact Us page (which is usually situated at the front of the lawn area and is close to a disabled toilet). A space will be booked in your name and ONE person can sit with you in that area. You do not have to sit in this area if you would prefer to sit with a group of family or friends elsewhere. We recommend wheelchair users are at the gates no later that 4.45pm, as we aim to get wheelchair users into the gardens and settled before the gates open. There will be event staff available to help.
Disabled Blue Badge Holder tickets are for blue badge holders who do not have an official carer. This ticket allows you to use the Fast Track queue. You may take ONE general admission adult with you via Fast Track to help, however if you have others in your party who have general admission tickets they will have to enter later. Please note, there is no 'saving of space' on the lawn for people who come later on, so if you are going to be joined by others, please sit further to the edges or wait until they are at the head of the queue before entering. You are permitted to sit on your fold up chair just inside the gates to wait for the rest of your party if you would prefer.
Child Tickets
Children under 5 are free, but you will need to book them a ticket. Please note, large prams and strollers are not permitted on the main lawn area and will need to be stowed elsewhere in the gardens (please get in touch to arrange if necessary) or choose an area further back where there is more space to spread out (like towards the river or in the ruins area). Small, lightweight, folding strollers are fine.
Children 5-15 years can go under a child ticket.
For safety reasons, there is a maximum of 4 children aged 5-10 years of age per adult. For under 5s, the maximum is 3 children.
Please see more in the terms and conditions about children and safety.
Large Groups
If you are planning to attend with a large group, eg, more than 10, and want advice on being able to sit together if the group is a mixture of fast track and general admission, please get in touch via the Contact Us page after you have all booked.
